Is there a device or user limit for our school's Subscription?

No limits here! You can login to your EducatePortal school account on as many devices as you have and there will be no need to change or upgrade your subscription as you add devices. Also, there is also no limit to the number of users that can login from your school's location.

 

Can we add our own website links into the Portal?

Yes! That is one of the great features of the Portal. You likely have favorite websites that you would like to make accessible from any device in your organization for all of your students and faculty. To add a site click on the Add feature once in the Search Form page and complete the entry.

Only user accounts that you designate will have permission to customize the Portal with your own entries.

How will sites that we have added be retrieved by our users?

Any sites that you have added into your school's portal will appear as per the way you have categorized and completed the search info when adding the site. Your entries will also be recorded as added by your school and can be retrieved in the Advanced Search by requesting the sites added by your school in all categories or just specific categories.

You can also delete or update any sites that you have added when cutomizing the Portal.

Will our EducatePortal Subscription work anywhere?

Your school's account will work only from your location as it will be tied to and authenticated against your school's WAN IP. That means your account will not work from another location. If your school has multiple locations or Internet Service Providers, accomodations will be made to make your account work everywhere you require.
